Kenwa Co.,Ltd. was established to take over the business of Hardware Section of Osaka Steel Export Department of Ataka & Co.,Ltd., when a merger of Ataka & Co.,Ltd. and C.Itoh Co.,Ltd. was officially announced.
Kenwa Trading Corp., wholly owned subsidiary company, was established in New York , U.S.A.

Kenwa Co.,Ltd., Singapore Representative Office was established in Singapore.

Kenwa Marketing ( Singapore ) Pte.Ltd. wholly owned subsidiary company, was established reorganizing Singapore Representative Office.

Kenwa Co.,Ltd., European Representative Office was established in U.K.

NHN International ( Europe ) B.V. was established in the Netherlands jointly with Daihatsu Diesel NHN Corp. for sales promotion of door hardware.

Kenwa Marketing ( Singapore ) Pte.Ltd. in Singapore was moved to Malaysia and was reorganized under the name of NHN International ( Malaysia ) Sdn. Bhd. wholly owned subsidiary company.

Head office was moved to the present address from Chuo-ku in Osaka.

NHN International (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. was renamed Kenwa-Micom Sdn. Bhd.

NHN International (Europe) B.V. was reorganized to be a representative office.

Micom Door System Co., Ltd., wholly owned subsidiary company was established to promote the business related to door operating devices in Japan.

Kenwa Micom Philippines, Inc. was established in Manila, Philippines.

Thai Kenwa Co.,Ltd. was established in Bangkok, Thailand.
PT Kenwa Indonesia was established in Jakarta, Indonesia.

Head office was moved to the present address from Kita-ku in Osaka.

Kenwa Taiwan Co.,Ltd. was established in Kaohsiung, Taiwan R.O.C.
